Warren NJ

One of the most attractive communities in New Jersey, Warren Township was voted in 2013 #1 Best Place to Live in Central New Jersey and #2 in the State of New Jersey. Originally, Warren Township was inhabited by the Lenape Indians. European farmers settled the territory in the early 1700’s; and in 1806 Warren was carved from part of surrounding towns and incorporated. The town was named after General Joseph Warren who was a hero of the Battle of Bunker Hill during the American Revolution.

Warren Township has 19.3 square miles. It is nestled in the Watchung Mountains. Once described as “the greenest place in New Jersey”, Warren Township residents and elected officials are working to keep its rural character and charm while recognizing that there will be growth due to the town’s beauty, favorable property taxes and strategic location.

Less than 35 miles to Manhattan makes Warren Township a favorite suburb for commuters to New York City. Businesses and residents alike chose Warren as their home because of the access to major roads and resources. Warren is positioned between route 78, route 22 and route 287. It is close to major shopping centers and great restaurants.

Warren Township is the location of over 600 businesses. These include restaurants, retail, and manufacturing & office occupancies. The Master Plan has kept our commercial and industrial growth to only a few main streets. Most of the commercial property is found on Mountain Boulevard, Mount Bethel and Stirling Road.

Watchung nj

THE 6.2-square-mile community of Watchung sweeps across two ridges of the Watchung Mountains, wedged between New Jersey Route 22 and Interstate 78. But unlike many other bedroom communities, Watchung offers large properties, undulating hills, narrow winding roads, abundant wildlife and two lakes: Lake Watchung and Best Lake.

''You get off Route 78 and drive right into Nirvana,'' said Catherine Ilchert, a 10-year resident and former chairwoman of the Watchung Historical Committee. ''You have herds of deer, crayfish, ducks, stunning vistas, hills, dales and babbling brooks. Some people keep horses. And since the town is small and the properties are large, you can be as anonymous as you want to be.''

Bridgewater NJ

The thirty-three square mile area which is now the Township of Bridgewater was originally purchased from a local Indian tribe. Chartered by King George II of England in 1749, and incorporated in 1899, Bridgewater is a modern suburban municipality with a balance of residential and commercial uses. In the early years, Bridgewater was known as a farming town. What is now Somerville and Raritan were once part of Bridgewater Township until they broke away years after the chartering.

Today, as was said, Bridgewater is a diverse and thriving township with a mix of both rural and suburban life.Township is prime ground for many new and large businesses, including Sanofi-Aventis, J&J, MetLife, and Phillips-Van Heusen. Bridgewater has progressed rapidly from its rural roots, and will continue to grow in the future.
